The Heart of Boxing in Newbiggin
The coaching team at Newbiggin boxing club are experienced in working with a diverse range of young people and adults.
The club was established by the late Ray Scott in 1987 helping, support boxers develop both physically and emotionally to reach their potential.
Through the sport of boxing our vision is to be a hub for personal growth, community engagement, and positive change. Through our various programs, we strive to significantly impact mental health, anti-social behaviour, crime rates, school attendance, and overall well-being.

What Goes On Behind Those Doors...
The ethos of our club is to provide a safe, professional environment where everyone is equal.
Although producing elite boxers to compete in championships is one of our aims, we also strive to help young people and adults grow to become stronger physically and emotionally.
NBC works with young people and adults from Newbiggin, Ashington, Blyth Bedlington, Cramlington & Ellington which are all deprived areas.
We deliver boxing coaching sessions 1700-1900 Monday-Thursday & 1630-1730 Fridays.
However, we have reached out to the community offering non-contact boxing classes to a wide range of people.
We deliver boxing coaching sessions
1700-1800 Monday–Thursday for juniors & beginners.
1800-1900 Monday–Thursday & Friday
1630-1730 for seniors.
Early morning fitness Tuesday, Thursday Saturday mornings 615-715.
Female class 1500-1600.

From beginners to advanced, we offer classes tailored to all skill levels.
